Greetings Colleagues and Friends!
The thing that is most apparent and on the minds of all of us, to varying degrees,
is the merger and all that is happening in preparation for it. So many of you have
worked on committees and initiatives to support that preparation. I thank you for
taking the extra time to help make the merger a success. We are fortunate that the
new NU will have a merged SSBS and the DMFS will welcome colleagues from
the JFK School of Psychology at NU to the new SSBS. It will be very exciting to
have new ideas and energy and passion that we and they will contribute to the
future of the new National University. I so look forward to the process of creating
a new SSBS in collaboration with each of you!
We will miss our colleagues in the Department of Psychology as they will move to
the JFK School of Psychology. However, even though our interactions will be less
frequent, we will have opportunities to collaborate across schools to best serve
our students!!
