As I shared in the last issue, Dr. Patrick McNamara was awarded a significant
grant from the Templeton Foundation. Dr. McNamara is currently in the
preparation phase and the grant will start April 1. In preparation of starting the
research, we are hiring three full-time positions, a postdoc, a data steward, and a
project manager. This is very exciting.
We are also hiring a full-time dissertation chair, a clinical director for the Clinical
Mental Health Counseling program, and a full-time position in the ABA program.
I am glad that we are having the opportunity to hire these positions, which reflects
the health and stability of our programs.
On a different note, I am aware that these are times of great uncertainly because of
the upcoming merger. It is my sincere hope that at the time that you are reading this
entry, we will have more clarity about the upcoming changes and adjustments.
I want to take a minute to thank you for your hard work, your commitment to your
students, and your patience related to the merger.
Please know that all is keenly noticed and greatly appreciated.
