Students and alumni of each of NCU's Schools are serious about putting their education to work in their fields. They demonstrate their expertise by actively applying their knowledge and skills through peer-re- viewed research, academic presentations and more. STUDENT AND ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT School of Business and Technology Management Alumna Dawn Hohl (PhD, 2012) presented "Discharge Planning Models" at the 2014 Remingston Think Tank Conference. PhD candidate Wolf Halton's article "Network Rediscovery with Kali Linux" was published in the December 2013 issue of Forensics Magazine. PhD candidate Kimberly Goudy presented her paper "Employee Trustworthiness in the Virtual Workplace" at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs inaugural international conference in Brussels, Belgium. Dr. Brian Kufner (PhD, 2012) co-authored the paper "The Moder- ating Effect of Organizational Safety Climate on Text Message Use and Work-Related Accidents: An Organizational-Level Investiga- tion," which was published in the International Journal of Social and Organizational Dynamics in Information Technology. Dr. Bernice Purcell's (DBA, 2013) paper "Big Data and the Cloud" was published in the Journal of Technology Research. Dr. John Daab's (PhD, 2008) article "Daubertizing the Art Expert and The Lord Byron Forgery: Where is the Questioned Document Examination?" was published in the Journal of Art Crime. School of Education Dr. John Sell (EdD, 2013) was named the 2013 Delaware State Teacher of the Year. PhD candidate Sepidah Mahani's paper "Promoting Mindfulness Through Contemplative Education" was published in the Journal of International Education Research. 21
