Psychology
In the fall of 2016, Psychology Department Chair, Dr. Bettina Shapira, obtained authorization to
deploy a special survey to graduates of the Master of Arts in Psychology (MAPSY) program. The
MAPSY is not a clinical degree, and Dr. Shapira wanted to know how alumni were using their
education in their careers. A summary of the responses is given below. This information is assisting
faculty when speaking to applicants about the NCU psychology programs during the new Open
House webinars hosted throughout each week. This information is also informing future
programmatic updates as well as marketing strategy.
Some of the things MAPSY Alumni described as having/being able to do after graduating:
