Greetings to Each of You! What an amazing year we had in 2017! We accomplished so many things as a team. Here are a few of the highlights: • Additions to the families of many of our colleagues • WASC presentations by a number of our faculty and staff • Several faculty were nominated for or elected to AAMFT service position • A very successful MAMFT COAMFTE Site Visit • Successful COAMFTE Annual Reports for the PhD MFT and MAMFT programs • A successful Faculty Symposium and DMFS meetings and fun in Scottsdale • Graduation 2017 was a wonderful event as we witnessed many MFS graduates and celebrated with them • Attendance by many students and faculty and some presentations provided at the AAMFT Annual Conference in Atlanta • All curriculum was transitioned to NCUOne with the help of many faculty • Successful transition to NCUOne – feedback has been and will continue to be given to improve the student and faculty experience • There was a transition in the Clinical Training Administrative Team with Shay Thomas returning to DMFS and taking on the role of Director of Clinical Training • We accomplished much in the area of curriculum development, with many courses being revised and created during the year. We also created some amazing proprietary content in Scottsdale, Atlanta, and Fort Lauderdale, as outlined below: The videos and animated audio are being polished now and will be sent out for viewing during January and February. I think you are going to be impressed at the work that YOU did! We will be adding this content to our courses beginning in the first quarter of this year and, because of the sheer volume of content, throughout 2018. It is exciting to consider how this content will enhance our courses and make a difference in what our students are learning. 11 (250 pgs.) 25 4 28 37 4 109 57 Total Work Products Clinical Toolkit Power Points Lectures Panel Discussion Role-Plays Texts Multi-Media Assets Darren Adamson, PhD Chair Department of Marriage and Family Sciences
