Requesting Prior Approval Full-time faculty and team members must request and obtain approval before engaging in outside employment as defined above by completing the Outside Employment Disclosure form. The form, once completed, must be returned to Human Resources and the request will go through the approval process by the faculty/ team member's direct leader, followed by review by the Provost and VP, Human Resources. Review of outside employment requests will take up to 30 days. Once a decision is made, the faculty/team member will be notified by Human Resources directly. Confidentiality If the request for approval to work outside the University is approved, the faculty/team member agrees to keep all NCU financial, strategic, new program offerings, regulatory development, and other proprietary information completely confidential. Faculty/team members will be required to sign the NCU non-solicitation confidentiality agreement. Updates Any faculty/team member who enters outside employment must notify Human Resources by completing a new disclosure form within thirty (30) days prior to accepting, or within fifteen (15) days of a change in status of the outside employment.
