12 | About NCU | NCU Faculty Handbook THE COUNCIL FOR ACCREDITATION OF EDUCATOR PREPARATION (CAEP) The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) accredits Northcentral University's Masters of Education programs focused on PK-12 education. CAEP, the only national accreditor for educator preparation, promotes excellence in educator preparation through quality assurance and continuous improvement. Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) Northcentral University's Master of Health Administration program has initiated the process for CAHME accreditation. Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Northcentral University has initiated the process for seeking accreditation for the MSN and DNP degree programs. Academic Units at Northcentral University The University currently consists of the following Schools: 1. School of Business (SB) 2. School of Education (SOE) 3. School of Heath Sciences (SHS) 4. School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SSBS) 1. Department of Marriage and Family Sciences (DMFS) 2. Department of Psychology (DOP) 5. School of Technology (ST) 6. Graduate School (GS) School of Business (SB) The School of Business (SB) offers programs that are designed to help students enhance leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, analytic and communication skills, while developing specialized knowledge in marketing, management, accounting, health care administration, project management, public administration, homeland security, criminal justice, computer science, management of information systems, and other areas. Students are challenged in new ways as they work toward becoming experts in their field.
