NCU Faculty Handbook | Section XX title | 77 ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Group Stewards within School/ Dept for a Faculty Supported Community 2-3 hours/week Group Stewards within School/Dept for a Community Resource Center 2-8 hours/week Key Contributor 2-4 hours/week Faculty member 2-4 hours/month • Works with School/Dept Steward/Ambassador to establish vision for this group • Provides relevant resources and materials as needed based on discussions that emerge • Monitors and actively participates in discussions, and respond regularly as necessary • Reach out to Commons Director and/or School/Dept with challenging posts • Participates Quarterly in the Steward/Key Contributor Meetings • Participates in the assessment of the Group • Works with School/Dept Steward/Ambassador to establish vision for this group • Maintains the CRC pages • Provides and maintains relevant resources and materials • Provides announcements, discussions or events as applicable • Monitors and actively participates in discussions, and respond regularly as necessary • Participates Quarterly in the Steward/Key Contributor Meetings • Participates in the assessment of the Group • Works with Group Steward to establish understand vision and engagement strategies for the community they are contributing to • Regularly (timeframe agreed upon between Key Contributor and Group Steward) posts discussions and relevant resources • Monitors and actively participates in discussions that arises from their posts, and respond regularly as necessary • Participates Quarterly in the Steward/Key Contributor Meeting • Update their profile and add a picture • Posts an initial self-introduction to the NCU or their school community • Reviews each of their daily summaries to stay abreast of what is happening in their school and student body • Respond and post to main communities when inspired
