The NCU MFTSA is very pleased to be
entering 2018 with many advancements
completed. Our prior chair Dr. Wendy
Kovacs-Cortes worked hard developing state
student coordinators and putting into action the
creation of our state groups in The Commons.
Dr. Kovacs-Cortes spent countless hours
ensuring MFT students get opportunities that
can sometimes be overlooked. Networking
within your state can be a valuable tool as you
navigate the waters of your education, your
practicum and internships, and eventually your
after-graduation experiences.
In moving forward in this New Year, we are
focusing from the creation of state groups to
the maintenance and growth of these groups.
About half of our states have student
coordinators which means about half do not
and we are on the lookout for any of you
wishing to join us. We are expanding the
newsletter and are eager for you to engage
with us by writing articles or creating short
videos to be inserted into it. Your voice is
important and we want your ideas on how to
improve your MFT experience here.
Please join us in ringing in this New Year with
voices, ambitions, and your participation in
our student association state groups!
Bring on 2018!
