The Academic Success Center (ASC) serves as an essential resource for supporting students through the process of learning and developing their identities as scholars and practitioners. The ASC strives to promote academic achievement by working collaboratively with students to promote learning and engagement. The ASC uses a holistic tiers of service approach to help ensure each student receives assistance that is personalized to their specific needs. Explore Our Tiers Written Resources and Tools We invite you to explore the Academic Success Center website to become familiar with our robust collection of tools and resources that showcase our first tier. Visit our Writing Resources section to learn how to develop your scholarly voice or write in a clear and concise manner. Increase your knowledge of statistics while investigating the Statistics Resources section. From the Editing Resources page, you can access your premium subscription to Grammarly. Grammarly is a tool for self-editing and proofreading your papers. On the APA Style Resources page, you will find information for accessing Academic Writer, APA's interactive tool for learning effective writing. Ask a Coach The Ask a Coach service provides you with several methods to ask quick questions or request additional support. Real-time support available at a variety of times seven days a week via ASC Chat. You may also submit questions 24 hours a day via Ask a Coach, email, or text at 928-440-1325. Your question will be answered by the first available coach. Scheduled Academic Coaching You can meet the coaches who are waiting to assist you and learn more about the ASC on the Learn About the ASC page. The ASC offers synchronous and asynchronous scheduled academic coaching. Recorded coaching is asynchronous — you do not meet live with a coach. •You will receive written and video feedback, along with a detailed coaching plan. •Feedback is uploaded within two (2) days of the scheduled appointment date. Group coaching is a live, 45-minute session with a coach and up to eight (8) students. •Group sessions are held at the same time weekly. •Sessions will be interactive and focused on students' specific questions. •Explore the Group Sessions page for a complete listing of sessions with descriptions. Individual coaching is a live, 45-minute session with you and a coach. •During an individual session, you can work collaboratively with a coach to master a specific skill based on your unique needs.
