In every course, students are asked to reflect on their supervisors' support of them developing specific competencies as indicated by NCU
Student Learning Outcomes and AAMFT Core Competencies. Specifically, students reflect on support received for them to:
1. Employ competence in working with diverse populations in clinical settings.
2. Apply family systems-oriented clinical skills across a variety of contexts.
3. Contrast family systems theory-oriented models of therapy.
4. Formulate decision-making process for ethical dilemmas congruent with the
AAMFT Code of Ethics.
From the beginning of March 2021 until the end of August 2021, 621 evaluations of local supervisors were completed by interns. Here
are the results on each Learning Outcome identified above:
